August 25 is the date Aaliyah passed and I remember exactly where I was when I heard Aaliyah died, at the 94.9 Summer Comedy Jam at Shoreline Amphitheater. She was one of the few female singers that I was straight in love with. I remember having a real sadness after she passed, and just got the feeling that she was a dope soul. Aaliyah was def. my favorite female singer when I was younger. No doubt that she would've been bigger than the ones right now. ::sigh::
